My thoughts on fire pit ring
Gas fire pits typically run on natural gas, and most models tend to be fixed units rather than portable. Most gas fire pits would need to have a provision to connect to the natural gas pipelines in place within the household. Gas fire pits may also be designed to function on propane, and these can be used as portable fire pits since a compact fuel tank would suffice as the fuel source, and this can be attached to the main unit when required. As far as functionality is concerned, a gas fire pit works very much like the typical indoor fireplaces, especially if it is fuelled using gas pipelines. A regular fireplace hosts the fire over the base or flooring, and a fire pit builds the fire over ceramic, metal or stone, depending on what forms its base.
