Sending out baby announcements through the mail is still a viable option, although you may want to be aware of a few guidelines. It is good idea to send out baby announcements no later than two weeks after the birth of your child for instance. Baby announcements also typically adopt a few common themes and color schemes. That being said, there is no law that says you have to strictly follow convention when sending out baby announcements and you are certainly free to do as you wish. Even so, these conventions may prove to be a good starting point for successful announcements.
