The NW and NE sections have the cheapest apartments. If your looking for a good deal and a place near a good time, the SW, SE corridors are your best bet. The place to be for young professionals or students is around the streets, Monroe, Alexander and East, these are where the bars and clubs are. University Ave is the best place for up in coming artists and musicians to live. Looking to get out of mom and dads place, or a place to live off campus, the city of Rochester is the most ideal place to be.
